Description
A 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7 in deep metallic green over an era-correct avocado green leather interior. The XR7 was the luxury version of Mercury’s pony car, and the 1973 wears the long hood, hidden headlights and clean, uncluttered lines of the final first-generation Cougar. This example presents with straight bodywork, glossy paint, bright trim and the correct wheel covers on radial tires. Power comes from the 351ci Cleveland V8 paired with a C6 3-speed automatic transmission for smooth, confident cruising. Inside are green leather bucket seats, a center console, woodgrain dash trim with the XR7 round gauges and a period radio. A stunning early-seventies personal luxury coupe.
